ABOUT

As a Dutchman I come from from one of the flattest countries in the world. I also used to have a fear of heights. Against all odds, my heart beats for the mountains.

I have loved the outdoors all my life, but my running and climbing career only started in my mid-twenties. Following this passion I have been pushing my physical and mental limits ever since.

So far I have climbed many peaks in the European Alps and have succesfully climbed multiple 6000 and 7000 meter peaks so far in my attempt to climb in all 1000 meters of elevation.

To sustain my mountain fitness I am also an avid runner.

Do you want to go on an adventure with me? During my talks I take you on a journey to vertical walls, the coldest peaks in the world and the most intense endurance challenges.

My talks can be about sharing stories of adventure and also about life lessons on physical and mental perseverence. I can also put more emphasis on collaboration between individuals and teams or combining insights from my professional career on topics like innovation or sustainability.
